Landscape photography doesn't simply capture beautiful places.
It preserves the interplay of light, atmosphere, and the unique character of a moment.
It allows special moments to live on beyond the moment itself.

My paintings tell of the beauty of special moments – from the first light of morning to the last colors of the day. I usually don't look for complex motifs, but prefer to concentrate on expressive phenomena.
Striking mountain landscapes, tranquil lakes, impressive reflections and the special interplay of light and landscape.
Most of my photographs were taken in Austria and South Tyrol, but some also took me to the impressive landscapes of Nepal and Kyrgyzstan.
When editing, it's important to me to preserve the natural effect of the landscape while powerfully highlighting its colors, light, and character. This results in images that are minimalist, authentic, and yet highly expressive.
