Amaze & Recognize

Isn't it almost reprehensible to photograph God's wonderful creation and then praise & to receive recognition?

I know it all too well as a landscape photographer.

admiration & Getting attention for your own pictures is something very beneficial and of course we all like to receive recognition for our achievements or works.

But I also think that the truth of why God gave us his wonderful creation is somehow pushed into the background.

Hardly anything else like the wonderful creation points so clearly and evidently to God's glory.

Was it his intention that we put ourselves in the spotlight?

and use his creation for this?

Or maybe God is more interested in us seeing him in his wonderful creation

be able to see a little more closely and pay attention to it?

I think the answer to this question is almost obvious, but I don't think the thought should end there.

Because even the creativity and joy within us in photography and His creation testify to God's glory. We didn't put this into ourselves. We simply discovered it and pursued that longing - our deep longing for beauty, acceptance and the touch of something creative.

In my opinion, all of this can only be sustainably satisfied by God.

I don't think we can and should boast about anything ourselves - because everything good comes from God and with humility & With gratitude we can appreciate his greatness, creativity & Discover the glory in nature and in us humans.

So let us not boast for the sake of the beautiful pictures we take, but rather let us simply enjoy God's creation and express the creativity He has placed within us with our pictures of His unique creation, for His glory.

A thought about photography and God's wonderful creation.
